A Gift For You!

Hello!  The week is halfway over and I haven't even blogged yet!  Shame on me!  I've just been so busy at work this week...time has gotten away from me!  The good news is, things are starting to slow down a little so I thought I would share a little gift bag I altered.  I started with just a plain brown paper gift bag and added some paper and my image to the front just the way I would a card.  The image I used is Miss Anya from the Miss Anya Garland Set at The Greeting Farm.  I paper pieced her dress and colored her with copics.  All in all, I think it turned out pretty cute, just not sure what I'm going to do with it yet :)

Here's a closer look!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great week!

Greeting Farm Challenge- Hunger Games

Hello!  How's your weekend going?  Mine has been pretty good so far!  Last night was the Customer Challenge Chit Chat Night at the Greeting Farm Forum on Splitcoaststampers.  While I wasn't able to be there much, I did pop in for a bit and chit chat a little.  The Challenge was to create a project based on a favorite book.  Right now, my favorite book is The Hunger Games although it's a close tie with Twilight and Hush Hush :)  For this card, I altered some of the Greeting Farm Wild Sprouts stamps I had and created some characters that looked a little more like Katniss, Peeta, and Gale.  Then I colored them up with my copics and free-handed the tree behind them.  When I put it all together, it seemed like something was missing so I added the little Owl in the background.  All in all I think it turned out pretty cute!  Like I said, I'm crazy about this book and can't wait for the movie to come out in March.  If you haven't read it yet...run to the store/library and get it. You will not be disappointed!

Thanks so much for stopping by to check out my card.  Remember the challenge is going on all weekend so there's stil time to play!  Just visit the Forum for all the details!

A Little Love in Your Heart

Hello, how's your Saturday going?  So far, mine's been great!  I got to sleep in!!!!  Now that I'm well rested, I thought I would share my latest creation with you guys!  This is Miss Anya from the Miss Anya Garland set at The Greeting Farm.  I have to say, I think she's my favorite!  So cute! To create this little sweetie, I stamped her in Memento Tux Black ink and then colored her with Copics.  I then added a little flower to her hair and some brad to her shoes so they would look like little buckles. There's also some glitter on her hearts that I added with a Copic Spica pen.  For the rest of the card, I used paper from My Mind's Eye and I punched a few hearts from a Sizzix Die and then added a sweet little heart charm.  He'res a closer look:

I'm really loving the way this turned out and I'm thinking I'll proably use this layout again so you may see it from time to time.  :)  Thanks so much for visiting and I hope you have a great weekend!  Also, comments are always appreciated!

Happy Birthday Bunny

Notice anything different about my blog?  That's right, I revamped it a little and so far I'm really liking it.  Hope you do too!  Today I have a cute little birthday card to show you.  I used the new Lucky Bunnies Clear Stamp Set from The Greeting Farm.  This little set is so versitile.  You can use it for all sorts of occassions!

The paper is used for this little guy is from DCWV.  I colored him with copics and added some glittered confetti for a more festive look.  The twine is from Hobby Lobby and the round mats were cut with my Spellbinders Dies.
Thanks so much for stoppping by.  Hope you're having a great week!

Cute as a Bug

Hi Guys!  Hope you had a wonderful weekend!  Today I've the sweetest little card to share with you! This is a digi stamp from Designs on Cloud 9.  I absolutely love this little lady bug, I just think she's the cutest!  Instead of making her red, I decided to change things up a bit and color her wings pink...so cute!  The paper is from Heidi Swap and the die cuts are by My Favorite Things. Thanks so much for visiting :)

Black and Yellow

Hi!  Hope everyone is having a great week!  I can't believe it's Thursday already!  Today I have a sassy little card using Madden, one of the new Creeper Crew stamps from The Greeting Farm.  I just love how edgy she is with her cargo pants, combat boots, and big hair.  For this card, I used DCWV Patterened Paper and added some Prima Flowers.  The image has been colored with copic markers and I free-handed the brick wall behind her.  A little ribbon and some bling finished off the whole thing :)  Also, you'll notice this is another square card!  That makes two for me and I'm really loving them!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog!

Lucky Little Bunny

Hi there, just wanted to say thank you to everyone for all the lovely comments you left on my blog yesterday!  You guys are so sweet!  Today I have a sweet little card using the new set Lucky Bunnies from The Greeting Farm.  This is a clear stamp set and I have tell you it is top notch.  Personally, I usually try to steer clear of clear stamps...no pun intended :)...because they don't usually hold ink very well and I have a hard time getting a bold image.  But these clear stamps from the Greeting Farm are VERY HIGH QUALITY!  I had no problems at all. In fact, I think I'm going to have to purchase some of the older clear sets no that I know they work so well!  Trust me, you will not be disappointed.  Ok, so now let me tell you a litle bit about my card:  I stamped this little guy with Memento ink, colored him with copics and used my nestabilities to frame him.  The clouds were cut using a pattern that came with my SCAL2 and the twine is something I picked up at Hobby Lobby.  Also, you may notice the sentiment is from the new Made By set.  I really love how this little guy turned out and I'm not sure I'm going to be able to part with him.  I may have to just display him in my scrap room :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great Monday!

I'm a Showcase Farmer!

Drum Roll Please...I have the biggest news to share with you guys!!!  I'm a Greeting Farm Showcase Designer!!!!  I know, I know...I'm sooooo excited!  As soon as I found out I almost fainted!  I can't believe it!  The most coveted DT out there and I get to be a part of it for the next six months!!! Yeah!!!

So what is a Showcase Designer?  Well, here's a little explanation straight from the Greeting Farm Blog and a little info about the Release today:

"It's RELEASE DAY at The Greeting Farm!   We are SO excited too because not only are there a ton of new releases, there are a TON of new faces being introduced  on the TGF BLOG!   We are welcoming 8 new Design Team members to our "SHOWCASE" team, the team that will be carrying you through until our next round of previews in March.   Our new SHOWCASE team will be bringing you lots of fresh ideas using our new releases and some fun tutorials and other special posts along the way.

What's more?  We have SIX new releases available in the TGF Store and a chance to WIN all six of them just for hopping and saying hello to our new PREMIERE and SHOWCASE teams.  We hope you've enjoyed the last week or so of previews, announcements and are SO grateful that you are sharing in our excitement as TGF rings in the NEW YEAR!

Sounds like fun, huh!  Be sure to join in on all the fun and check back here often because I will be posting lots of Greeting Farm creations for your viewing!!!  In fact, here's the first of many:  This is one of the new Miss Anya's from the Miss Anya Garland Set!  Isn't she just adorable???

As usual, I stamped her with Memento ink and colored her with Copic markers.  Then I stitched around the mat and DP with my sewing machine.  The rosette was actually created by hand with a score tool and the whole thing was embellished with Liquid Pearls.  Oh, and the paper is by Little Yellow Bicycle :)  Believe it or not, this is actually the first square card I've ever created!  I know, I know, I'm a little behind the times, but I always just create rectangle cards since they're cheaper to mail.  However, I'm really liking how this turned out so you can probably expect to see more of these little square treasures!

HAPPY 2012 everyone!  Now be sure to head over to The Greeting Farm Blog to check out all of the FUN!"
